“As a fitness instructor who has been in the business for over 20 years, Trena is by far, if not, the best instructor I have ever known. She’s phenomenal, encouraging, mad strong, and extremely knowledgeable in exercise/fitness training.
I am so grateful that during the pandemic, while my gym was closed, that she so graciously filmed and shared her classes with the world, so that we could continue to workout at home. It was during this time, that I actually had the time to be a student again, and I can say, Trena pushes you harder than anyone, she keeps the classes interesting with so many fun variations, and most importantly while making the classes extremely challenging for even the most fit participants she always teaches to ALL abilities, showing modifications and encouragement.

"I started taking the virtual class the first week of June '20. Since I already knew Trena, I was confident that it would be a great and challenging class. Drastically, 3 months after, my body started changing. Even though I'm not too big, I have lost body fat percentage and gained so much muscle mass and strength that is unbelievable.
I haven’t been going to my gym since March '20 due to the pandemic and I have been focusing more on Trena’s classes besides my regular running routine. I feel more energetic, I have more motivation, I am focusing on my body more and the funny thing about this is that I am not even lifting weight like I usually do at the gym. My leg muscles have become stronger than ever. My endurance has improved immensely as well as my breathing.
With just the basic equipment at home I can improvise and modify the exercises without the required equipment for each class. I feel great and happy with all these unexpected results!

"I met Trena over the summer at her classes at Summit Park in Blue Ash. I found her to be challenging for me, but she also consistently affords modifications. She welcomed all fitness levels and worked with everyone.
Then Fall/Winter came...and there is Covid. Thankfully Trena continued doing zoom classes online multiple times per week. Again, she is challenging but very accommodating to everyone. She has great energy level and her music is very diverse and motivating. No single class she does is the same which I enjoy because you never know what to expect. I am beyond grateful for her and will absolutely continue to support her. I have also suggested her to several of my friends that I know enjoy fitness. I highly recommend checking Trena out...and she is a “fit bitch” but extremely modest. Also, her clothing line is fun as it represents her “fit bitch” motto and she has several articles for sale. CHECK OUT TRENA! SHE WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT DISAPPOINT!

She knows her stuff! Killer workouts, unique and ever changing teaching style, focused on form, safety, modifications, and education. She continually encourages me and shows me I can do more- every class I am amazed at how uplifting yet effective she is at what she does- while I am left dripping sweat, pushed to my max (or what I thought my max was, as Trena always brings more out), I feel on top of the world!
The vibe when you come train with Trena is FAMILY. 100% it does not matter how long you have known Trena or her group… you will always be welcomed with open arms and feel like you are talking to a best friend. And you are!

"Those lucky enough to encounter Trena are in for a treat. Trena is an excellent fitness instructor. From the onset you can tell she is not only passionate about what she does, but also is quite skilled. Trena will “treat” you to challenging workouts that are constantly changing. She will have you surprising yourself at what you can truly do. She introduces you to new and excited workouts and if you do not understand exactly how to do something, she will gladly help you in a positive manor.

“I’ve been a gym rat for nearly 29 years (since 1992). I’ve done workouts to build muscle mass, increase muscular endurance and improve cardiovascular fitness. I’ve competed in local Pump & Run weightlifting and running competitions for years and was blessed to always finish as one of the top 10 finalists. I teach advanced spinning classes 3 times per week. After the last ~5 years, I’ve been blessed to know Trena and to take her Bootcamp & HIIT classes. She offers great classes that challenge people who are looking to get in shape but that will also challenge the super fit athlete who’s looking to take his/her workout to the max. What makes her special and above the rest are 3 things in my opinion ...
1 VARIETY (each whole body workout routine is unique - different exercises, sequencing and options for beginner, intermediate & advanced students)
2 THE ULTIMATE MOTIVATOR (She explains / outlines the class ie. exercises, equipment & alternatives at the start of every class; She then leads by example by doing the exercises with proper form in essence being both the teacher and student at the same time while talking us through the exercises AND offering encouragement & recognition when we’re making improvements towards our goals as we workout which motivates each person to do his/her best)
3 FAMILY (She has a knack for making every participant feel like we’re part of a family. That encourages participants to encourage each other and to get to know one another whether training in person or virtually via Zoom. Knowing something about everyone helps you feel a connection to Trena and the classmates which creates a desire to be part of the family that works out together so we individually & collectively stay committed to our workout goals day to day, week to week, etc - this is essential if we’re going to achieve our fitness goals)
All in all, the stuff above makes her a 9 out of 10. What makes her a 10 out of 10 is that she goes well beyond the proverbial extra mile as evidenced by her giving us virtual YouTube classes when the gyms closed down for the pandemic starting Spring 2020. Even when she’s not feeling well or facing recovery from COVID-19, she always pushes herself to give us great classes even when we - the class tell her she needs to take some time to rest. So, she’s truly (over) committed to always being an enabler for her students to achieve their goals. ...And ‘NO!... NONE OF THIS IS AN EXAGGERATION!’. Just come to a class to find out for yourself."
